Chloe Codd, 29, is an Irish performer best known for appearing on the first celeb series of The Traitors. She is now recovering from a second below knee amputation on her left side. This latest surgery occurs six years after her first amputation, below the knee. At 15, Codd endured a career-threatening injury, breaking her foot during a football match. This injury led to years of additional surgeries and persistent chronic pain.
In the emotional TikTok clip, posted just after her surgery, Codd opened up about the procedure and revealed her new ride—which she’s dubbed with the name “Fat Tony.” She shared her enthusiasm and fears about this new and transformative path to recovery. The retired performer explained that she requires a minimum of one month to allow her body part to recover. After this, she will be ready to go get fitted for a prosthetic.
Codd’s foot challenges clearly didn’t start overnight. She described the toll that years of crutches took on her joints, stating, “It’s just that this foot, I was on crutches for the bones of eight years and the way I used my crutches I was always kind of on my tippy toes, so the joints in my feet were destroyed by the end.”
In her TikTok post, Codd spoke directly to her followers with infectious joy and positivity.
