Acclaimed Actor Peter Greene Passes Away at 60

Peter Greene, known for his iconic roles in films such as Pulp Fiction and The Mask, has unfortunately died. He died at the young age of only 60 years old. Early life Greene was born in Montclair, New Jersey. During his decades-long career, he delighted audiences with his intense interpretations of troubled figures and ultimately walked away with at least 13 Academy Awards.

Greene’s on-screen presence was often associated with villainous roles, gaining particular notoriety for playing Zed, a rapist security guard in Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. His portrayal of Zed was one of the film’s most chilling performances, solidifying Greene’s reputation as an actor capable of delivering intense and unsettling characters. Greene had actually rejected the part in Pulp Fiction at first, worried about the material. Director Tarantino never took no for an answer and chased him down until Greene finally agreed to the role.
