Boxing Legend George Foreman Passes Away at 76

George Foreman, the iconic, hard-hitting former heavyweight boxing champ, has died at 76. George Foreman Born on January 10, 1949 in Marshall, Texas. He fought his way up from childhood poverty to emerge not only as a legendary boxing champion but eventually an international ambassador. He passed away peacefully on March 21 2025 at home surrounded by family and friends.

Foreman’s life journey began in Marshall. Shortly after, his family relocated to Houston, where his single mother continued to raise him and his six other siblings. Despite the adversity he experienced in his youth, Foreman’s hard work and focus shot him to international acclaim. His remarkable boxing career included winning the heavyweight boxing gold medal at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City and later becoming the oldest heavyweight champion at age 45 after knocking out Michael Moorer in 1994.
