Early Monday morning, law enforcement in Austin, Texas discovered several incendiary devices at a Tesla dealer. This shocking find has led to an ongoing investigation, aided by the FBI. Already, the Austin Police Department was hinging its use of the panic button on how quickly their officers could respond to any incident. During the construction, they now found some very suspicious devices that caused the APD Bomb Squad to respond.
"When officers arrived on scene, they located suspicious devices, and called the APD Bomb Squad to investigate," the Austin Police Department stated.
The devices were later found to be incendiary and were safely placed into police custody with no further incident. This latest development appears to be part of a series of incidents targeting Tesla locations, coinciding with CEO Elon Musk's participation in the Trump administration.
"The devices, which were determined to be incendiary, were taken into police custody without incident," the Austin Police Department confirmed.

DOGE, the administration’s new initiative with Musk at the helm, that would cut federal spending and employee counts by half. His engagement has incited targeted attacks and vandalism campaigns against Tesla, including its new corporate HQ on Austin.
Tesla's operations have been under scrutiny due to Musk's perceived influence in political circles. Unfortunately this type of climate has inevitably stoked tensions and led to dangerous encounters like the one reported at the Austin showroom. The FBI’s involvement makes clear the seriousness of the threat and ongoing distress over physical security at Tesla facilities.
