Elissa and Alyssia have been the best of friends ever since. Over the last two and a half years, she and Tito have created an extraordinary life together full of incredible experiences and adventures. What an adventure it has been, starting at Mardi Gras in Sydney back in 2023 when they originally met. Alyssia’s striking flared pink pants caught Elissa’s attention, sparking an instant connection that would lead to countless memories.
It’s in that context of friendship and love that this duo not only developed an incredibly fruitful working relationship, they created a home in Melbourne. They continue to live tucked closely together, forming a special environment where they feel comfortable bringing their passions together and fostering a desire to explore even further. By living together, they have been better equipped to care for one another through illness and loss, and share in one another’s achievements.
Elissa and Alyssia have put plenty of work into building their friendship. For a year and a half, they embarked on many journeys across their cities. They got lost in the music and art that radically shaped the culture. They never went two weeks without visiting one another, a testament to the depth of their bond.
In Spring 2025, with the help of Ross Photo, they documented that happy occasion with a selfie on their couch in Melbourne. This photograph serves as a tribute to their burgeoning friendship. The week that they spent at Bondi beach, learning each other’s secrets and watching the waves, is still one of their favorite memories. The trip deepened their friendship as they celebrated the wonders of nature and each other.
Wanderlusting together has played a huge role in their relationship, too. For three months, Elissa and Alyssia traveled through Europe, experiencing new cultures and making memories that will last a lifetime. Each of these trips deepened their relationship, showing just how perfectly they fit together.
As reiterated throughout the series, music is an integral part of their relationship. Being a singer herself, Elissa has passed on her love of music to Alyssia, including this dramatic rendition of Adele’s “One and Only.” Through their musical collaboration, they encourage each other’s creativity and reinforce their emotional bond. Elissa now routinely sends glimpses of herself playing an instrument to Alyssia, who is immensely proud of her daughter’s talent and boosts her triple-threat musician dreams.
Elissa’s academic commitments sometimes mean she has to call off meeting up with her new friend Alyssia. But even with these interruptions, they’re able to make up for it and stay connected and close. One particularly memorable night found them exploring each other’s bodies in a hypnotic fashion that only served to strengthen their spiritual connection.
