Trump Blasts Supreme Court and Pop Icons During Middle East Visit

Former President Donald Trump just concluded a pretty successful trip around the Middle East. This trip was punctuated by oil and gas business deals, moonlight and stars—accompanied by a parade vitriol against him from Gulf State leaders. Once back, Trump was all too ready to hop on to social media. He talked about everything from Robert Pattinson to the U.S. Supreme Court in their conversation.

During his four-day trip, Trump met with the regional power players to ink a reported 63 business deals. The former president frequently pointed to these interactions as evidence of his still-potent influence on the global stage.

Amidst these diplomatic engagements, Trump directed sharp criticism toward pop icon Taylor Swift, suggesting that her popularity has waned since he publicly expressed disdain for her.

“Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” – Donald Trump

Further, Trump surprised no one when he slammed Bruce Springsteen, calling him “highly overrated. In fact, Trump said if Springsteen feels that way about the U.S., he should stop criticizing the country from overseas.

“I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States,” – Donald Trump

Trump’s remarks continued with a personal attack on Springsteen’s talent and political stance.

“Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics and, importantly, he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK,” – Donald Trump

On his return flight from Abu Dhabi, Trump shared more than a dozen messages on Truth Social in less than an hour. These posts addressed a wide range of issues. They looked, instead, at what he still needs to overcome as he works to move his ambitious legislative agenda through Congress. In it, he pointedly criticized Republican members who he feels are sabotaging his talk.

Putting pressure on congressional Republicans to stand unified, Trump ran up against big obstacles. He even conceded that the House Budget Committee did not have the votes to move a critical tax-cut reconciliation bill. After a crazy week, Trump got dealt yet another blow. It featured fiery oral arguments before the Supreme Court over his infamous birthright citizenship executive order. All the relevant arguments combined. The three liberal justices said they were doubtful about every argument made by U.S. Solicitor General D. John Sauer.

“The richest men are taking satisfaction in abandoning the world’s poorest children to sickness and death. This is happening now,” – Bruce Springsteen

Trump’s allegations that the Supreme Court has been compromised appeared initially in his Truth Social posts. He charitably called this manipulation the handiwork of “radical left losers.” He urged Republicans to come together. Together, they must swallow one big piece of legislation that weaves in the tax breaks he vowed to deliver throughout his successful presidential run.

“IS BEING PLAYED BY THE RADICAL LEFT LOSERS, WHO HAVE NO SUPPORT, THE PUBLIC HATES THEM, AND THEIR ONLY HOPE IS THE INTIMIDATION OF THE COURT, ITSELF.” – Donald Trump

Trump’s call for cooperation between Democrats and Republicans is the first step in a larger strategy to restore his legislative dreams.

“WE CAN’T LET THAT HAPPEN TO OUR COUNTRY!” – Donald Trump
