Conservative activist Laura Loomer, a favored acolyte of former President Donald Trump, has received a blistering response on X following her controversial plan. Her incendiary comments on X, once called Twitter, were directed at the recent police killing of the conservative firebrand Charlie Kirk. The arrest took place Wednesday as Kirk was speaking at Utah Valley University. Loomer, in response, promised to physically assault and/or intimidate those she decides are mocking or celebrating the fact that he was attacked.
Loomer worked through the night, powered by her fervor. She made a commitment that she would name anyone who made fun of Kirk’s condition. She declared her intent with a stark warning:

This announcement comes on the heels of a history of unflattering remarks Loomer has made about Kirk. Just a few months ago, he was a “charlatan,” the “political opportunist.” She accused him of doing “backflips of the mind” and selling out Trump, in a July 13 statement. Her criticisms stemmed from Kirk’s opposition to military strikes ordered by Trump against Iran and his choice to host comedian Dave Smith at a recent conference, where Smith had called for Trump’s impeachment.
Loomer’s hypocritical reactions to violence have raised eyebrows, too. She has enjoyed enormous popularity, especially among right-wingers, for her ardent demands to cancel some lefty organizations. Her response to violence against Kirk stands in stark contrast to her comments after the 2022 attack on Paul Pelosi, husband of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In that instance, Loomer promoted a racist, anti-Semitic, and completely unsubstantiated conspiracy theory. She also suggested that Pelosi had been attacked by someone she encountered on a hookup app.
In response to Kirk’s shooting, Loomer stepped up her calls for action. She feels well-funded threats from the left, and she is hell-bent on making them pay. She urged Trump to pursue U.S. liberals in Kirk’s name, stating:
“It’s time for the Trump administration to shut down, defund & prosecute every single leftist organization.” – Laura Loomer
Her pleas for help were met with a combination of support and blistering attack on social media. Many users directed scathing remarks at Loomer, pointing out the hypocrisy of her current stance compared to her previous criticisms of Kirk. Replies included comments such as:
