Sean Charles Dunn, a 37-year-old man, is now facing the harshest possible criminal and legal consequences. They have charged him for assaulting a police officer at the U.S. border. A video that went viral on TikTok depicting Dunn screaming “Fascists!” moments before the incident generates a national interest.
Then, under U.S. Attorney’s office headed by the fiery Jeanine Pirro, Dunn was prosecuted. Their choice of venue was the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. In a statement, Pirro noted that she was determined to achieve full prosecution of Dunn for his reckless acts. “President Trump has vowed to make DC safe and beautiful again,” she asserted, underscoring the administration’s aggressive stance on law enforcement in the city.
According to court records, Dunn has not made any public comment on the charges or the May 2022 incident. Furthermore, there is no listed attorney on his behalf, nor any upcoming court dates found at this time. Daina Henry, a local transit police detective, brought the criminal complaint. In Dunn’s arrest, it describes the circumstances leading up to Dunn’s arrest. Dunn then proceeded to confront the officer aggressively, poking his finger in the officer’s face. He shouted, “Fuck you! I don’t want you in my city!” A short time later, he allegedly threw a subs-style sandwich—still in all its packaging—at the officer.
