FDA Acknowledges Child Deaths Linked to COVID Vaccines Raising Concerns Among Experts

And the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is getting ready to announce a bombshell link between COVID-19 vaccines and the sudden deaths of American kids. This shocking discovery has raised the concerns of health experts and the public. The Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research – the CBER within FDA – Vinay Prasad, just announced very disturbing news. FDA’s chief medical and scientific officer admits on record that there have been over ten child deaths attributed to COVID vaccines. These deaths were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). These were participatory workshops with children aged seven to sixteen and took place from 2021 to 2024.

While this disclosure raises significant concerns, it is essential to note that COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to millions worldwide, demonstrating overall safety and effectiveness. In fact, many experts, including Paul Offit, have hailed the development of these vaccines as “one of the greatest scientific and medical advances in our lifetime.” The issue of vaccine safety has become a very complicated conversation. Myocarditis, a rare possible side effect of vaccination, happens more often and severely in instances of COVID infection. We know that vaccination continues to be most effective in protecting us against severe illness from the virus.

Prasad underscored that it is important for the FDA to recognize child deaths. It could result in fewer vaccines being available. That would lead to an increase in vaccine-preventable diseases. Dan Jernigan, the former director of the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, was not happy. He’s deeply concerned with how the public trust in health agencies has eroded. He noted, “It’s getting harder for them to know which recommendations to follow and who they can trust.”

It is highly unusual for a top vaccine regulator to disseminate such information via email to all staff without consulting the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC) or presenting findings publicly. Paul Offit remarked on this process, saying, “When you make that kind of sensational claim, I think it’s incumbent upon you to provide evidence that supports that claim. He didn’t supply any evidence.”

Tracy Beth Høeg, an epidemiologist and sports medicine physician, has been an author of or led investigations into these allegations since last summer. She’s not only hipping lawmakers to how they could hurt public health, either. Health experts warn that making COVID vaccinations less accessible in the U.S. could lead to preventable deaths, particularly among vulnerable populations.

“Concomitant vaccines have been used with the existing system for a long time with no evidence of harm,” she stated, emphasizing the need for updated flu and COVID vaccinations that “cannot be delayed.”

Given all of this, it is no wonder that there is confusion both in the public and healthcare community about vaccine safety and efficacy. Jernigan underscored this sentiment by stating, “Now you have the head of CBER saying that your vaccine killed at least 10 children?” And he clearly had trouble believing that no clearer standards were set out for such weighty accusations.

The FDA pulled an about face with this most recent announcement. It comes as health officials direct much of their attention to the long-term, ongoing pandemic response. Undoubtedly, COVID vaccines are key to protecting the public against serious illness from COVID-19. In fact, they are the single most important intervention we have for reducing hospitalization rates. Rare side effects like myocarditis and blood clots reported to VAERS are still under investigation. Yet these important inquiries are directly inflaming the market for misinformation about vaccine safety.

Perhaps the FDA is finally preparing to admit that children are dying from COVID vaccines. In turn, experts are rightfully calling for transparency and calling for a more evidence-based communication. This recognition has incredibly far-reaching consequences. It might have a powerful impact on public perception and trust in vaccination efforts in the future.
