When U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, the novel Republican firebrand, isn’t hogging headlines. Her ugly encounter with airport employees at Charleston International Airport was followed by a loud and obnoxious tirade. Mace is right now running for governor of South Carolina. She alleges that her safety was in fact endangered during the encounter, using recent widely covered high-profile shootings to buttress her increasing fears as well.
The incident that took place last Thursday morning, when Mace accosted airport staff and entitled TSA agents. An arresting officer’s report paints a different picture, alleging that she discharged a “sh***storm” of vulgarity. She announced the treatment she received was intolerable for a “f… just a farmer.”
