New Revelations Surface in Jeffrey Epstein Case Amid Trump Speculation

Fresh explosive revelations about pedophile pal, the late Jeffrey Epstein. These possible new charges have led to new hand-wringing and speculation over his connections to one Donald Trump. Epstein—the convicted sex offender who died in 2019—had a deeply damaging, problematic, and at times intimate 15-year-long relationship with the former President. Recent discussions have focused on a deposition Epstein gave in 2010, where he was questioned about his social interactions with Trump and others.

In that deposition, Epstein was asked an uncomfortable question—one meant to undermine his credibility. He got pressed on whether Trump ever invited him to social events that included girls under 18. Given the lack of transparency, his dodgy answer was particularly eyebrow-raising. He rejected the question, invoking his Fifth, Sixth and 14th Amendment privileges.

“Though I’d like to answer that question, at least today, I’m going to have to assert my fifth, sixth and 14th amendment rights, sir.” – Jeffrey Epstein

The reappearance of this deposition has received widespread attention, especially when Stephen Colbert played clips of it on his show. This would mean, Colbert pointed out with self-deprecating humor, that Trump is back-stroking in the kiddy pool.

“So we don’t know if he was doing the creepy crime, but we do have a cover-up.” – Stephen Colbert

Colbert likened Epstein’s efforts to redirect inquiries as a “shoddy,” last-minute cover-up. He implied that something nefarious was hidden below the surface. He likened Epstein’s shifting context to an open secret.

“And just like the cover-up on his face, it is patchy and there’s something really ugly under there.” – Stephen Colbert

Throughout this discourse, Mark Epstein, Jeffrey’s brother, has publicly challenged Trump’s assertion that he ended their friendship. Mark argues that Jeffrey broke from Trump as soon as he figured out that the former president was this shady.

“when he realized Trump was a crook.” – Mark Epstein

The mention of Trump’s name has been linked to ongoing investigations into Epstein’s files. Political pressure In May, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi allegedly told Trump that his name was listed in those records. This bombshell has spurred much debate over their complex contents, and what they might implicate.

Comedian Josh Johnson worked his own personal occupation priority into the late-night discourse, mocking the media circus surrounding Epstein’s death and its aftermath.

“but not since Tupac Shakur has a dead man dropped so many bangers.” – Josh Johnson

Weirdly enough, Johnson remarked on the absurdity of it all, pointing out that Epstein’s ties to Trump should be very troubling indeed.

“I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard anybody plead anything other than the fifth before.” – Josh Johnson

The Epstein discussion has, understandably, led many to start asking what could possibly be behind the long-standing secrecy on Epstein’s files.

“When you say ‘Why have they been hiding it?’ the ‘they’ is you now, bro.” – Dan Bongino

Much speculation surrounded what could possibly be in those files. When the produce safety rules were mishandled, Stephen Colbert jumped into action and demanded their release.

“Whatever is in those Epstein files must be really f***ing bad.” – Stephen Colbert

As debate rages and new details emerge, the public is clamoring to know more. They want to figure out how to make sense of Epstein’s connections and what lies ahead for powerful people identified in his black book.
