Plane Crash in Minnesota Sparks Investigation as US Bank Vice-Chair Feared on Board

On Saturday, the pilot of a small plane tragically crashed into a home near Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The plane had taken off not long before from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa. The plane, a Socata TBM 700, was on its way to Anoka County-Blaine Airport when it crashed. Hear from the great first resident who was home during the crash but narrowly avoided serious injury. The plane is registered to US Bank vice-chair Terry Dolan. There is growing concern that he may have been on it.

The home that the plane crashed into was home to two residents, but only one was home at the time of the crash. This person was lucky enough to make it out unharmed, introducing a glimmer of relief in this story of heartbreak. US Bank, meanwhile, is crossing its fingers. Into this uncertainty, the medical examiner is laboring mightily to decide whether or not Dolan was, indeed, a “passenger.”

The NTSB will now delve deeply into the investigation. Their mission is to determine the events and conditions which led to the crash of Socata TBM 700 airplane. The results will be instrumental in determining what went wrong and ensuring that a tragedy like this does not happen again. At this point, no definitive information has emerged about what caused the crash. For about half a day we didn’t know the fate of those who were onboard.
