Sean “Diddy” Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, is embroiled in a deeply disturbing legal fight. The greatest burden he faces right now is his ongoing fight with his son, Justin Combs. Now, a new federal class action lawsuit has come out against them alleging widespread criminal misconduct, even including rape and sex trafficking. This case has added a new twist to Sean Combs’ ongoing first amendment violation trial. The trial is scheduled to last seven weeks.
The pattern of Justin Combs’ alleged misconduct dates back to 2017. He’s alleged to have trafficked a woman from Louisiana to Los Angeles by falsely promising her a job. On information and belief, per the allegations in the lawsuit, he used his father’s celebrity status to lure the plaintiff. As outlined in the suit, Justin exploited the job opportunity to retaliate against the plaintiff. He stored “risque” photos she’d sent him, increasing the coercion.
The complaint level the very serious charges against Justin Combs and Sean Combs. It alleges that they, along with two other masked assailants, drugged and sexually assaulted a woman repeatedly over her visit to Los Angeles. The complaint claims that Sean Combs has operated a RICO criminal enterprise. This enterprise was engaged in interstate sex trafficking, drug trafficking, kidnapping, forced labor, arson, and bribery.
“His conduct is strikingly similar to how [the] defendant Sean Combs and his entourage conducted themselves for many years,” states the lawsuit. It further implies that Sean Combs’ willingness to inflict sexual violence is hereditary with his son.
Sean Combs has been accused of sexual and physical abuse in a string of lawsuits through the years. He reportedly settled with his ex-partner, Cassie Ventura, last month for a reported $20 million. Even so, he continues to come under fire for allegedly pressuring women into drug-fueled sex marathons. The current lawsuit includes claims of a “pervasive history of sexual assault and violence,” with prosecutors alleging that he was involved in a brutal gang-rape incident in 2017.
In a statement issued by Combs’ legal team, they dismissed the allegations, asserting that “anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason.” They reiterated their stance by stating, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone – man or woman, adult or minor.”
At the same time, on King Combs, Sean’s son Christian Combs is trying to establish his own career in music as well. Now, at 27, the talented artist and activist recently released a seven-song EP entitled “Never Stop.” It features coproduction from Ye, aka Kanye West, who remains a key influence on Westside Gunn’s music. Even with all of the chaos happening around his family, King Combs isn’t letting anything stop him from doing what he loves most – making music.
The alleged victim in the lawsuit described experiencing “severe emotional distress, emotional anguish, fear, anxiety, humiliation, embarrassment, physical injury, emotional injury and trauma” as a result of her experiences.
